Roma Diamond Skip has the very best of proven Irish Draught competition stallions in his pedigree. Within three generations he can boast the world renowned King of Diamonds, Kildalton Countess, Pride of Shaunlara, Skippy, Diamonds are Trumps and Shaunas Diamond.

His young stock are winning show classes. His pure-bred filly Ballykissangel winning the Hunter Yearling Class at The Royal Welsh Show 1997 and second place two year old Filly at the 1998 Annual Breed Show. His first two pure-bred colts, Bridgeford Diamond Warrior and Kilpeck Diamond Knight were sold for export. Sire of Kilpeck Diamond Knight RID Stallion.

In 1996 he took the Reserve Championship, Royal Dublin Show, standing above the reigning champion Rakish Paddy in a strong class.
